Project Details
Overview & Objectives
This project focused on creating a responsive website for a steel fabrication company specializing in custom metalwork and structural steel solutions. The primary objective was to present completed work clearly, establish credibility with commercial clients, and provide straightforward access to contact information.
Because the audience included contractors, architects, and business clients, the site needed to emphasize craftsmanship, reliability, and visual proof of work rather than marketing-heavy language.
Role & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the design and front-end implementation, with an emphasis on clarity, visual impact, and cross-device consistency.
Key responsibilities included:
Designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Structuring the site to showcase completed steel projects visually
Creating a clean, minimal navigation focused on portfolio and contact access
Ensuring strong contrast and readability over image-based layouts
Maintaining a professional, industrial visual tone aligned with the brand
Supporting usability for both office and mobile job-site viewing
Project Outcome & Learnings
The final website delivered a clean, image-forward experience that highlighted the company’s fabrication work while remaining easy to navigate across devices. The responsive design ensured that portfolios and contact details were accessible whether viewed from a desktop office environment or a mobile device in the field.
This project reinforced the importance of letting work speak for itself in industrial and B2B contexts. It strengthened my ability to balance strong visuals with usability and reinforced best practices for designing portfolio-driven sites where credibility is established through real-world results rather than promotional copy.
