Overview & Objectives
This project involved designing a responsive website for a pet boarding and care facility offering services such as boarding, daycare, grooming, training, and veterinary care. The primary objective was to create a warm, trustworthy online presence that reassured pet owners while clearly presenting services and encouraging online bookings.
The site needed to balance emotional appeal—trust, safety, and care for pets—with functional clarity, ensuring visitors could quickly understand offerings and take action from any device.
Role & Responsibilities
I led the design and front-end implementation, focusing on usability, responsiveness, and conversion paths tailored to pet owners.
Key responsibilities included:
Designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Creating a friendly, approachable visual style aligned with pet care services
Structuring service categories for easy scanning and navigation
Designing clear calls-to-action for booking and inquiries
Ensuring consistent branding and imagery across pages
Supporting usability for time-sensitive actions such as reservations
Project Outcome & Learnings
The finished website delivered a welcoming, easy-to-navigate experience that supported both emotional trust and practical decision-making. Clear service icons, strong imagery, and prominent booking calls-to-action helped guide users toward scheduling services with confidence.
This project reinforced the importance of designing for emotional reassurance while maintaining clear conversion paths. It strengthened my ability to translate service-based businesses into intuitive, responsive digital experiences—skills that apply directly to hospitality, healthcare, and customer-focused platforms.
