Project Details
Overview & Objectives
This project focused on designing a responsive website for an organization centered on aging, caregiving, and community support services. The primary objective was to create an emotionally resonant, trustworthy digital experience that communicated compassion, dignity, and support for families navigating care decisions.
The site needed to balance storytelling with clarity, guiding users toward resources, services, and next steps while remaining accessible across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Role & Responsibilities
I led the design and front-end implementation, translating sensitive subject matter into a calm, approachable, and user-centered digital experience.
Key responsibilities included:
Designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Creating an emotionally driven hero experience to establish trust and empathy
Structuring content to clearly present services, programs, and resources
Designing intuitive navigation for users seeking help or information
Supporting accessibility and readability for diverse audiences
Maintaining visual consistency and a reassuring brand presence
Project Outcome & Learnings
The finished website delivered a warm, respectful experience that reinforced the organization’s mission while making information easy to access. Strong imagery, clear messaging, and responsive design helped guide users through emotionally sensitive content without overwhelm.
This project strengthened my ability to design for empathy-driven experiences, where tone, pacing, and clarity are just as important as layout and functionality. It also reinforced the importance of accessibility, trust, and user reassurance when working with healthcare and caregiving audiences.
