Overview & Objectives
This project focused on designing a responsive website for a city government, with the goal of providing residents and visitors with clear access to public information, services, and community resources. The primary objective was to create a structured, trustworthy digital presence that reflected civic identity while remaining accessible and easy to navigate.
The site needed to support a wide range of users, present dense information clearly, and function reliably across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
Role & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the design and front-end implementation of the municipal website, translating government content into a clear, organized, and user-friendly digital experience.
Key responsibilities included:
Designing responsive layouts for desktop, tablet, and mobile
Structuring large volumes of civic content for clarity and readability
Creating consistent navigation for public services, news, and resources
Supporting accessibility and usability best practices
Maintaining visual consistency and a professional government tone
Ensuring reliable presentation across multiple screen sizes
Project Outcome & Learnings
The completed website delivered a clean, accessible experience that made city information easier to find and understand. Responsive layouts ensured residents could access resources from any device, while structured content helped reduce friction when navigating public services.
This project strengthened my experience designing for government audiences, reinforcing the importance of clarity, accessibility, and consistency when working with civic and public-facing platforms. It also highlights my ability to manage complex content within a structured, responsive framework.
