Project Details
Overview & Objectives
Angie’s Pet Spa & Boutique required a website refresh to modernize its visual presentation, improve usability, and better showcase its grooming services, retail offerings, and trusted partner brands. The objective was to transition from a visually dense, decorative layout to a cleaner, more structured design that improved readability, navigation, and customer engagement.
The updated design needed to maintain a warm, boutique feel while presenting services and pricing in a more approachable, mobile-friendly format.
Role & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the redesign and front-end implementation of the website, guiding the transition from the original layout to a more modern, service-oriented experience.
Key responsibilities included:
Redesigning the site layout to improve clarity and visual hierarchy
Modernizing typography, spacing, and content structure
Reorganizing service offerings and pricing for easier scanning
Creating structured sections for grooming services, retail brands, and partnerships
Improving navigation and content flow across pages
Ensuring responsive behavior across desktop and mobile breakpoints
Project Outcome & Learnings
The redesigned website delivered a cleaner, more professional experience that made it easier for customers to understand services, pricing, and available products at a glance. The improved layout reduced visual clutter while preserving the boutique brand identity and highlighting trusted product partnerships.
This project reinforced the value of iterative design and thoughtful content restructuring when modernizing legacy websites. It also strengthened my ability to balance brand personality with usability, ensuring that aesthetic improvements directly supported clearer communication and better customer experience.
