Overview & Objectives
AccountWorks required a professional, credibility-driven website to support a bookkeeping and accounting services business led by a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. The primary objective was to establish trust, clearly communicate services and certifications, and encourage prospective clients to initiate contact for consultations.
The site needed to balance professionalism with approachability, perform well across desktop and mobile devices, and highlight industry certifications as key trust indicators.
Role & Responsibilities
I was responsible for the design and front-end implementation of the website, working to translate the client’s professional credentials and service offerings into a clean, structured digital experience.
Key responsibilities included:
- Designing responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile
- Creating a clear content hierarchy focused on services, certifications, and contact pathways
- Structuring service listings for easy scanning and comprehension
- Highlighting professional credentials and certifications to reinforce trust
- Implementing customer review sections to support credibility
- Designing contact forms and location elements to support client outreach
Project Outcome & Learnings
The completed website delivered a polished, professional online presence that emphasized trust, clarity, and ease of engagement. Clear service descriptions, visible certifications, and streamlined contact flows helped position the business as knowledgeable, reliable, and client-focused.
This project reinforced the importance of credibility signals and information hierarchy in professional services websites. It also strengthened my approach to building responsive layouts that support content-heavy pages while remaining clean, readable, and conversion-friendly across devices.
