A Wedding 2 Remember

Responsive Website Design & Visual Content Presentation

Project Type: Websites
Tech Stack: CMS, CSS, HTML

Overview & Objectives

A Wedding 2 Remember was a service-based website designed for a Gulf Coast wedding and event business offering officiant services, photography, videography, music, and planning packages. The objective was to create a visually engaging, trust-building website that showcased photo galleries, clearly outlined service packages and pricing, and guided users toward contacting the business for bookings.

A strong emphasis was placed on mobile usability, visual storytelling, and presenting complex service offerings in a way that was easy to scan and understand.

Role & Responsibilities

I was responsible for the design and front-end development of the website, working closely with the client to translate their brand, services, and photography into a cohesive digital experience.

Key responsibilities included:

- Designing a responsive layout optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices

- Creating image-driven gallery layouts to showcase wedding photography

- Structuring service and pricing tables for clarity and usability

- Developing custom page layouts for FAQs, contact forms, and featured content

- Implementing navigation and content organization tailored to a service-heavy business

- Ensuring consistency across visual components, typography, and interaction patterns

Project Outcome & Learnings

The completed website delivered a visually rich, mobile-friendly experience that highlighted the client’s services and portfolio while making pricing and contact information easy to access. The structured galleries and service sections helped establish credibility and guided users through the decision-making process.

This project reinforced the importance of balancing visual impact with clear information architecture, especially for service-based businesses. It also strengthened my approach to designing flexible layouts that support rich media, structured content, and long-term maintainability—even when projects must later be represented through archived visuals rather than live deployments.
