Project Details
Overview & Objectives
A Peace of Mind Prep Academy required a modern, responsive website to clearly communicate its child care and preschool services to parents and guardians across all devices. The primary objective was to create a clean, approachable digital presence that built trust, improved usability on mobile, and made service information easy to find and understand.
The site needed to support non-technical staff with simple content management while maintaining a professional, family-friendly design.
Role & Responsibilities
I led the project from initial planning through deployment, handling both design and development responsibilities.
Key contributions included:
Designing a responsive layout optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
Implementing a CMS-driven structure for easy content updates
Translating brand and audience needs into a clear visual hierarchy
Ensuring consistent styling, navigation, and accessibility considerations
Testing layout and usability across multiple screen sizes and browsers
Project Outcome & Learnings
The finished website delivered a polished, mobile-friendly experience that clearly presented services and improved accessibility for parents browsing on phones and tablets. The client gained a manageable CMS solution that allowed staff to update content without developer assistance.
From this project, I strengthened my approach to responsive design, content hierarchy for service-based businesses, and building flexible layouts that balance visual appeal with long-term maintainability.
